AntalGenics has obtained Halal certification for its neurocosmetic ingredients. With this certification, AntalGenics complies with the Halal Standard and guidelines for the development, manufacture, packaging, and marketing of ingredients for cosmetic use.
Halal certification ensures that AntalGenics assets can be used by Muslim consumers, with the peace of mind of knowing that the standards required for their use are met. In addition to Halal certification, AntalGenics ingredients comply with the ISO 9001: 2015 quality standard.
AntalGenics has launched two neurocosmetic ingredients that meet Halal standards: Calmapsin® and Capsisilence®.
Calmapsin® is an innovative neurocosmetic ingredient that helps calm itching, protects against oxidative stress, and improves the skin’s barrier function, three of the main signs of sensitive and atopic skin. Calmapsin® was launched in 2020 and is manufactured according to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) in the European Union.
Capsisilence®, on the other hand, has been developed to improve scalp care by reducing inflammation, flaking of the scalp and helps soothe itchy scalp. Capsisilence® will be presented at the national cosmetic fair Cosmetorium on October 20 and 21 in Barcelona.
